Community Christmas Concert (Council Led Event)
12/12/2024 - Hurstville Library and Service Centre (LEA)
Celebrate Christmas with your community and watch a very special concert at Hurstville Library. Join the fun and festivities and see some amazing local performers take the stage.
Featuring members of the NSW Railway Band, a choir of local children, a multilingual operatic performance, and an interactive Music Together experience, this concert is a must see!
About the Performers:
- The NSW Railway Band was formed in 1894 and is the last Railway Band to still exist in Australia. The band plays to appreciative audiences at various events and venues including Sydney’s Central Station on the last Tuesday of every month.
- Georges River Council’s Early Learning Centres provide high quality education and care. Our focus is on play-based learning and holistic development. Children feel safe and supported in our accessible and inclusive environments. We are an extension of the community and raise the standard for early learning.
- Jing Lei is a classical singer from China who performs in Chinese and Italian.
- Music Together is an early childhood music and movement program for children from birth through age eight—and the grownups who love them! First offered in 1987, our music classes help little ones develop their innate musicality—and much, much more.
Make sure you reserve your spot and help us celebrate together as a community.
