Illegal posters are unauthorised materials attached to power poles and other public infrastructure. These posters can pose serious safety risks. They can obstruct important information and create visual pollution. It is illegal to place posters on power poles as they are owned and managed by Ausgrid
 

Addressing Illegal Posters

To address illegal posters, Ausgrid offers ways to report them. This is to keep our community safe and clean. Ausgrid prohibits the attachment of material to electricity assets without approval as per the Electricity Supply Act 1995.
If you spot an illegal poster, do not attempt to remove it yourself for safety reasons. Instead, report it to Ausgrid's maintenance crew using the channels below.
