The following types of applications must be submitted using the NSW Planning Portal:

• Construction certificates.
• Complying development certificates.
• Building information certificates.
• Subdivision certificates.
• Basix certificates.
• Occupation certificates.

The NSW Planning Portal makes it easy to submit building applications to Council. It is a simple online service you can access anytime, anywhere.

Since 1 July 2020, applications for the following certificates and approvals must be submitted via the NSW Planning Portal:

• Development Applications.
• Applications to Modify Consents (s4.55 applications).
• Review of Determination (s8.2 applications).
