Prepare to be captivated by the words of local storytellers at our upcoming poetry event, where tales of resilience, strength, and unity will echo through the air.
The theme for this year's Refugee Week is "Finding Freedom,” which centres on the importance of family.
The event will focus on this theme, delving into the profound significance of familial bonds in the lives of refugees. In addition to curated performances, members of the audience will be invited to step into the spotlight during our open mic session.
The evening promises a diverse array of poetic expressions, with performances delivered both in-language and in English.
Join us as we honour the resilience of those who have found freedom within the embrace of their loved ones.
