Georges River Council is pleased to announce that applications for Venue Hire Grants 2024-2025 are now open. These grants offer an opportunity for community engagement and connection through the provision of in-kind support to reduce the cost of hiring council venues.
 
To ensure accessibility and clarity, Grant Guidelines for this program are now available. These guidelines aim to further support community organisations through increased understanding of the program as well as the process of applying for a grant.
 
These grants apply to the hire of council venues between 1 July 2024 and 30 June 2025.
 
The Council's Community Capacity Building Team will be holding Information Sessions throughout April and May to assist grant applicants. Information Sessions will strengthen applications, foster community relationships, and ensure equitable access to grants.
 
Georges River Council acknowledges and values the important role of the community in shaping and implementing initiatives that enhance the Georges River community. Through the Venue Hire Grants program, the Council offers in-kind assistance to support a wide range of projects.
