Tree Replacement

Where approval via a tree permit has been approved by council, it is a condition of consent that replacement trees be planted within 6 weeks from the date of removal or as per permit conditions specify.
Replacement trees are to be minimum size of 45L and replacement ratio is to be 2:1.

Council undertakes regular audits of required replacements. Where it is found replacements have not been undertaken, council will consider enforcement options including the issuing of fines.

Tree Species

Where replacement is required, planting is to be within your property boundary. Species selection is at the applicant’s discretion unless otherwise specified within conditions of consent.
