Commercial Car Parks

We have a number of commercial car parks throughout Hurstville and Kogarah.

Automatic Number Plate Recognition (ANPR), Bluetooth technology (ZipBy App) and Pay and Display systems are used across Council car parks.

For a completely automated and hands-free experience, we recommend you download the ZipBy App before entering any access controlled car park to allow easy access. 

For details on parking locations and what these changes may mean to you, refer to the tables below. New fees and charges will be applicable to all the below mentioned car parks. You can view the cost of Council's commercial parking rates on our fees and charges web pages (see pages 71 to 74).

Council's Access Controlled Car Parks (boom-gate on entry and exit)

Please note: MPS (Mobility Parking Scheme) permit holders receive an additional 1.5 hours free parking on top of the existing 0.5 hour free parking (2 hours free in total per vehicle, per day) in the access controlled car parks. This is subject to validation.
The two hour validation needs to be pre-arranged via ZipBy App and approved by Point Parking.

 * All day parking permitted, with a maximum of 1 hour free per vehicle, per day. Fees apply thereafter.
 ​* The 1 hour free period cannot be split for variable use throughout the day and will apply for 1 hour from the time the ticket is printed.

MPS permit parking in the above-mentioned Pay and Display car parks is available at no charge when the MPS permit is displayed clearly on the dashboard of the vehicle and is used to transport the individual to whom the permit is issued.

Kogarah CBD

  • Commuter Carpark - 272 Railway Parade, Carlton.
  • Railway Street Carpark - 2 Railway Street, Kogarah.
  • Commuter Carpark - Railway Street, Kogarah.
  • St George Hospital Belgrave Street Carpark - 30 Belgrave Street, Kogarah.
  • St George College TAFE Carpark - 19 Wicks Lane, Kogarah.
  • Kogarah Town Centre Carpark - 1/9 Railway Parade, Kogarah.
