Repeal of various Section 7.11 and Section 7.12 Contributions Plans

Georges River Council at its meeting on 25 October 2021 resolved that the Council's existing development contributions plans be repealed by the Georges River Council Local Infrastructure Contributions Plan 2021 (Section 7.11 and Section 7.12) and that this take effect by way of a public notice of repeal.

Council provided notice on 12 November on this website and on 10 November in the St George and Sutherland Shire Leader of its intention to repeal the seven (7) existing Development Contributions Plans on 1 December 2021.

As of 1 December 2021 the following Plans are now repealed:

  • Kogarah Section 94 Development Contributions Plan No. 1 – Roads and Traffic

  • Kogarah Section 94 Development Contributions Plan No. 5 – Open Space

  • Kogarah Section 94 Development Contributions Plan No. 8 – Kogarah Town Centre

  • Kogarah Section 94 Development Contributions Plan No. 9 – Kogarah Libraries

  • Kogarah Section 94 Contributions Plan – Ramsgate Commercial Centre

  • Hurstville Section 94 Development Contributions Plan 2012

  • Georges River Council Section 94A Development Contributions Plan 2017.

The repeal of these contributions plans does not affect the previous operation of the Plans or anything duly done under the Plans. The Plans can be viewed below.
