There a number of public car parks are available to the public in the Georges River Council area – some car parks are Council-owned and others are privately managed, e.g. car parks in shopping centres.

Georges River Council manages seven car parks across Hurstville and Kogarah, listed below.

For a seamless, hands-free experience, download the ZipBy App before entering. 

Mobility Parking Scheme Permit Holders - receive 2 hours free parking per day (includes 0.5 hr standard free + 1.5 hour additional).

• Must be pre-arranged via the ZipBy App and approved by Point Parking.

• Fees apply after the free period.

Change to Parking Fees – Effective 1 August 2025

No free parking - the 1-hour free parking will no longer apply. Fees will apply per the below:

• 0 – 1 hour: $1.00

• 1 – 2 hours: $3.40

• 2 – 3 hours: $5.40

• 3 – 4 hours: $7.60

• 4 – 5 hours: $9.60

• All day: $12.00

• Permanent parking (weekly): $48.00

Mobility Parking Scheme Permit Holders - Receive free parking only when the MPS permit is clearly displayed and vehicle is used for transporting the permit holder.​
