Dog owners have access to eleven off-leash dog parks in the Georges River area. Dogs can run, exercise and socialise leash-free with other dogs and visitors at these parks.
Our off-leash areas include fenced and unfenced areas and are open all year round. If you use these parks, you are responsible for ensuring your dog is supervised, under effective control and for cleaning up after your pet.
Designated areas are provided within the following parks:

Arrowsmith Park - Corner Woniora Road and King Georges Rd, Penshurst.

Carss Bush Park - Carwar Avenue, Carss Park.

Gannons Park - Pindari Road & Isaac Street, Peakhurst.

H.V. Evatt Park - Restricted - 1116 Forest Road, Lugarno.

Hurstville Park - Corner Gordon Street and Patrick Street, Hurstville.

Hogben Park - 2 Railway Parade, Kogarah.

Kogarah Park - Corner Princess Highway and Jubilee Avenue, Carlton.

Merv Lynch Reserve - North side of stormwater channel, Edgbaston Road, Beverly Hills.

Moore Park - 22a Ferry Avenue, Beverley Park.

Moore Reserve - West Crescent, Hurstville Grove.

Riverwood Park - located at the rear of 1-9 Mary Street, Riverwood. Entry via Coleridge Street.
Dogs must be kept on a leash at all times when not in a designated leash free area.
Failure to comply with notices displayed at Council ovals, parks and reserves is an offence under Section 632 of the Local Government Act 1993. Penalties apply for under the Companion Animals Act 1998.
